Recipe
- Mutton 1kg
- Onions 2 Chopped
- Tomatoes 3 Chopped
- Curd 300g
- Barishta 4 Onions, Ground To Paste
- Ginger Garlic Paste 3 tsp
- Green Chilli Paste 3 tsp
- Oil/ Ghee 3 tsp
- Salt to Taste
- Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Mint Leaves For Garnish
- Basmati Rice 750g (4 cups), washed and soaked
- 1 Packet Shahi Riwayat Bombay Biryani Masala
Steps to make delicious Bombay Biryani:
Chef's tip: For best results, cook as per the steps mentioned above.
Heat oil in a pan, sauté onions till golden, add ginger garlic and green chilli paste and sauté well. Add in tomatoes and sauté until tomatoes get cooked. Add Mutton and sauté well on medium flame. Add curd and sauté on low flame until oil separates and the mixture dries slightly.
Add 1⁄2 cup water and allow mutton to cook on medium heat until mutton is tender. Add in brishta along with 1 packet of Shahi Riwayat Bombay Biryani Masala and sauté for a couple of minutes until oil separates.
Top the vessel with boiled Rice, top the rice with 1 tbsp ghee, brishta, coriander and mint leaves and cook on dum for 10-12 minutes.
